Jonna-Lynn Alonso

Vanessa is a Filipino/French-American, LGBTQ+ voice actress with classical vocal training as a mezzo-soprano. She received her bachelor’s degree of music for vocal performance from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2019. In 2022, Vanessa began her voiceover career, specializing in character work for animation, video games, and audio dramas. She is known for a wide range of performance that encompasses a low to high vocal spectrum. Her work has been featured on Crunchyroll, Netflix, AnimationEpic, and more.

Jonna-Lynn Alonso is a voice actor, voice director, casting director, ADR performance coach, singer, writer, and overall silly person originally from Seattle, WA, but currently based in Los Angeles, CA, USA. She has over ten years experience in various fields of the entertainment industry, including playwriting, music direction, and dramaturgy. She is a founding member of the Vojo Dojo Casa House, an independent casting and voice direction service with a large emphasis on increasing accessibility to opportunities for historically underrepresented communities and talent outside of major markets/hubs. She’s worked in games, animations, ADR/dubbing (anime and live-action), commercials, narrations, audio dramas, scratch work and other projects.
